It's not only foreign muslims that say death to america...it's basically every foreigner that isn't of european decent.

Yes I'M the one that said Extremists should not be used as an example for the true religion of Islam.
YOU did NOT state this, nor do I believe you even understood that fact. Now you're trying to use this in your favor to make yourself look better.

I wonder why they hate us so much? Is it because we go into their countries and attempt to change their believe system? Is it because we push democracy on the? Is it because they are intolerant of us? What is it?

It is because of our perceived arrogance, and the tendency of our government to be fair weather friends...we tend to use people for our advantage and when they are all used up desert them until we need another favor.

That is why I care less about politics... I agree with your asessment of this.

Quick observation--there's such a thing as Christian extremists that kill or use hate tactics too. See those that bomb abortion clinics, those that want to kill gays, those that protest deaths of people and saying they deserved to die because they were sinners being punished by God when they don't know that person's soul or life...etc...

When we talk extremists--I don't just think about jihadists, I think about your Jim Jones, your David Koresh, your Heaven's Gate...all used Christianity as a base for their cults, and even if others aren't "cults", they may claim Christianity as a way for them to slide their own worldly agenda through w/o much resistance because people in general are more hesitant to call out somebody who's going on a crusade of any sort under a Christian banner.

You are exactly right. When I use the term "true Christians" I am refering to the followers that are totally opposite of the cults.Yes I agree that a lot of people through the years have used the Bible to do a lot of bad things. But dont you think as grounded and rooted christians we should be able to discern what is right and what is wrong? The enemy mimics the true things of God in an attempt to destroy people... I just pray that we all be able to discern what is from God and what is not.
